Did anyone here have their baby nd their appetite completely change? All the stuff I couldn't eat while having GD I dont even want anymore. Having GD made me mad conscious about what I eat now. My man said today is a "take out" day. I thought I wanted some chicken nd fries but I changed my mind. The thought of all that grease just made me sick to my stomach🤢.... I honestly can go hrs without even eating now. I just dont be feel like eating...
@sheenese17, I have no idea either. It was very weird though. It was the first time I had an issue with actually eating but I still ate because I knew I needed to. I hope yours resolves soon and just remember that you need to eat for your LO so you have the energy and nutrients to care for them. Congratulations btw.
@scoons637 oh ok. Yea idk what it is... Maybe bc we had a appetite for two for so long after we gave birth our body gotten confused.
I didn’t have GD with any of my pregnancies but after my son was born in 2012 I completely lost my appetite for food and would never be hungry. I had to force feed myself because I would be able to go without food all day. I don’t know what changed my appetite but I just never felt hungry at all but I ate because I was trying to breastfeed until he didn’t take to it
@sheenese17 Right and also I think after baby your body is truly hungry for nutritional foods. It doesn't want crap because you have to recover from giving birth. It's empowering but also hard on your body.
@lillynellasmom I was told during my pregnancy to only have diet drinks nd now I still drink diet drinks...
@cori.severs yes me too. That's how I feel hun. Having GD was the horrible for me nd now that I am ok, I dont anything. It's like I'm scared to eat plus my "I just had a baby" body is still here.
I use to love dr peper and Pepsi and after i had my oldest i could not stand it or drink it with out getting sick.
And all I really wanted after my son was veggies and nothing greasy.
That happened to me for a few weeks after baby. It did go away though.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
