Need help please! My son has had a fever since Friday. That Friday he had a seizure. Went to the Er took blood test everything they say there's no infection. Basically he's riding it out . Today I started him on Tylenol. He had a rash on his cheek and belly . Dunno if it's because of the Tylenol or it's something else . He's barely eating just drinking . Any other ideas to keep the fever down . I tried cold bath. Shower wet cloth popsicle.

No cold baths for sure, my daughter had rigors which looks similar to a seizure but is a reaction to the body trying to rest it’s thermostat. It’s scary af, pls keep hydration, even smaller grazing meals, and tepid baths.
Do not give him cold baths that’s likely why he had a seizure. Cold baths, cloths etc can cause a child’s temperature to change to quickly resulting in seizures. Give Tylenol.
All I could do for the fever was tylenol .. cold cloths .. and stripped naked.
It sounds like Roseola .. my little had it around 9mths. First comes fever for days .. then a rash ..

You can also give him advil in between if the fever doesn't go down. I'd get second opinion

I think the shots fever may be gone!!! He doesn't feel warm at all and it's Tylenol time. usually it's 101-102 by now. !! Hopefully it's over. I've actually cried with him I was so sad. I can't stand to see my baby hurting
eddison has been waking screaming every half hour. he had small fever. I've given him Tylenol..he still won't sleep. think it's his teeth???

I know none of you are doctors but from experience does this look like strep throat? He had a headache yesterday & had a fever of 100.6 under the arm. Took Tylenol and within an hour he was fine.
