Anyone struggle with false negative pregnancy tests? I keep taking them and they come out negative, but I can feel movement to the point where I am just about positive I'm pregnant (and kind of far along, too). These negatives are making me feel crazy tho lol.
@dashtikalin do you have any friends on base that would be willing to take you? Honestly, have your husband talk to his command to see if he can either get off early or come in late because it’s important for you to be seen.
@veemitchell I'll look into it! There are clinics on base, they are just unfortunately not within walking distance.
@let_there_be_life oh my gosh I'm so glad there's someone else out there has experienced this!
@dashtikalin should work, they may want you to see an off base doctor. If you've got tricare they might have a similar program. Not sure, I haven't had tricare in five years. Is there not a clinic on your base that they could check you out?
@dashtikalin my friend took a pregnancy test right in front of me, it was negative, went to the doctor a week later and was 7 months pregnant with a girl. It's possible
@rowdy-vajazzy I never had one after my daughter was born because she is breastfed 😅
@veemitchell I don't think that would work for me because I live on a military base. It won't kill me to wait to go to the appointment with my husband. I'm just starting to feel a little crazy with all the negative at home tests lol.
Medicaid has a transportation program that will help you get to and from appointments.
@jellybeans33 @wafflespancakes @mamagunn.no.1 I think it's more than just phantom kicks! I am also confused by all the negative tests because surely I would easily show up on a test by now if I am as far along as I feel I am. I will go to the doctor, but I don't have a car so it will take a little orchestrating to get the appointment made and get my husband's work to let him off. So any appointment I make will likely be a little bit in the future and I am feeling impatient to get to the bottom of this! It is making me feel insane haha.
@rowdy-vajazzy I've also been putting on weight so much more recently. I did struggle a lot with phantom kicks after my daughter and eventually started ignoring them. The biggest reason why I suspect pregnancy is because when I push on my belly, I definitely feel something squirm/push back! I feel like it is unlikely that is a muscle spasm.
Apparently if you've been pregnant before, you can have pseudo movement in your stomach. I have also had this feeling a few times before, for years after my first pregnancy. It's a strange feeling! I agree with @jellybeans33 though to get some bloods and maybe an ultrasound done to be 100% sure
Could it be phantom kicks? If you're not getting your period and think you're pregnant, why not just go to the doc for a blood test?
If you’re feeling movement I think you’d get at least one positive by now? Have you talk to your ob about getting blood work?
Is movement your only symptom? I was recently having movement in my stomach. It was crazy feeling! I knew I wasnt pregnant though. I think it was muscle spasms. I could actually see movement when I laid on my back. Never had anything like it except when I was pregnant lol.
@queenmeeks most of my friends either don't have a car or have a small car pluse their kid that wouldn't fit all of us in it. I am going to have my husband talk to his command about letting him take me to the Dr. He did it a few times before, but he was in a different unit then. I don't think they will have an issue with letting him get off, but the naval hospital I have to go to is stupid and slow and I am not feeling patient enough to wait for an appointment before I find out whether I'm actually pregnant or just crazy lol.
