@aussiebub, it's such a lovely career, nursing isn't for me but midwifery, I love. Especially the idea of specialising in one subject and knowing everything I can to give the best professional care I can, as well as building my interpersonal skills daily (I'm not from the easiest of backgrounds so find it hard to talk to people, however caring for elderly has really given me so much help)

It was always my plan after finishing my a levels, however I made a sacrifice to go into care to help get a mortgage so me and DH could buy a house, which we've done and now have two children and he's trying to apply for a shift work train driver job which would be hard to work around his training whilst I study. Life is full of so many reasons not to xx

@kayleeebeee, I work for the police so I shift work and because I am not a British National it would be hard for me to find the money to study, I’m not entitled to any government assistance so it’s off the cards for me

I would love to be a midwife too, I said to my husband if we ever won the lottery I would quite my job and train as a midwife
