@megan-leigh I'd press on at these doctors, you never know what could be wrong, what milk do you give her?

I was where you were, i wasn't a baby person before I had my daughter so i didn't have a clue about babies atall. I spent 5 days in hospital after a c section then going home was a shock! I didn't know what to do,she would barely have 15ml of a bottle never mind ounces. I didn't sleep for weeks, barely ate or took a shower. I cried for days and days, didn't think I could do it. Told my sister I hated being a mum but the beginning is so hard but as time goes by you forget about all that, they eventually get a little routine going and things get alot better. You can do it! Us women are awsome 🤗 but keep on at the health visitor and doctor. Do you have support from family aswell?xx

@noshinxoxo She is rarely ever happy.. I have one day a week maybe where she will sleep loads and be happy. I've taken her to the doctors but he wasn't interested.. But honestly you don't even understand how bad she is.. She screams and stresses all day everyday and night... I barely can get anything done at all.. I'm barely sleeping I barely have time to eat. I eat once a day if that and it's never a full meal. Because she will scream her head off until I pay her attention and pick her up. I'm lucky if I get a shower every 3 days. It's not just her not sleeping it's dealing with 19 hours or more of screaming in one day.... Honestly don't know how much more I can handle. Everyone who has seen her like this has said it's not normal for a baby to be like this and don't know how I cope... xx

I'm sorry this may not be helpful, but my first was an awful sleeper. He had reflux, was generally happy, but vomited loads and it made him sleep like shit. Got to the point where he was waking every 15 minutes to 45 minutes at night and only taking 15 minute naps in the day. I was crying every night, my depression was out of control, my relationship with my hubs was awful because I being an awful bitch from sleep deprivation. I thought there would be no end to it. My mum kept saying to me just hang in thee till 4 months and he'll settle. Well month 4 came and went and nothing. So nearing 5 months I decided to sleep train. I read, how to solve your child's sleep problems by Richard ferber and just went for it. Within a week, just like the book said, he started sleeping for 3+ hour blocks. Which was gold. The naps didn't settle till he was like 9 months. But I'm just here to say that during these times I felt like there was no end, no light at the end of the tunnel, that this would be it forever, but as someone who has been there and knows how stupid effing hard it is, I want to give you a huge hug and just give you the reassurance that it does get better or at the very least, when she gets a little older you can start taking steps to making it better. Some baby's are honestly just shits at sleeping and it's torture as a mother but you're strong enough to pull through. Defo talk to your health visitor because I didn't and it really caused me to struggle even now a year + on.

@mummyto2boys For the past nearly three days she's slept 10 hours I've managed to get about 8 hours. All she has done is scream and scream at me. I've got a massive migraine now too. When she's not screaming shes stressing out. Kicking her arms and legs everywhere. I feed her, change her bum, cuddle her, give her her dummy, give her Calpol and teething gel for her mouth. I try to play with her but nothing is working. I don't know what else I can do... xx
