When you cry bc your cat pees on the rug after you JUST cleaned the box. 😣🙄😲

And i buy her expensive, almond shell cat litter, i scoop her box frequently, I'm loosing it.

How old is she and how long have you had her for?

Is this just recent behavior? She could have some sort of urinary tract issue.

It's possible she has a UTI or kidney stones. One of my cats was very prone to it and I realized that her body processed bottled water better than tap 🙂 we invested in a Brita filter and she's been fine ever since. All the same, a trip to the vet might be in order.

Has anything changed like the the type of litter or a new box? I agree with the others about getting her checked by a vet to rule out health problems.

She's about 3. Ive only had her around 4 mos. I changed her litter but she peed in the shower when she had the litter she came with.

She peed in the shower before i moved her box downstairs. I moved it back where it started out after she peed on the rug.

I wasn't pregnant when we first got her. She's using her box. Shes never pooped outside of it but this is the 4th time shes peed.

I cant deal with her peeing in the house. We do have hard water. Uti didn't occur to me but i feel like its a behavior thing.

I've heard of this from other prego moms. Cat flips out when owner becomes pregnant. Maybe change the water and see if it continues? I actually saw a mom rant how her cat peed on all of the baby's things including the crib/bedding/mattress

That's why i really need her to stop peeing in the house.

If she’s 3 it’s likely something she’s gotten used to doing and may not be able to correct. Where did you get her from?? Also make sure you aren’t cleaning the litter box someone else is since your pregnant!
