Have you tried changing the nipple to one with a faster flow. That’s always how I could tell that the nipple needed to be changed. My babies would take forever to finish a bottle, sucking and sucking.

I can’t think of what else it could be. You do want them to take their time, but like 20 minutes.

Proper pace feeding should take 5 minutes an ounce. Any longer would indicate baby may not actually be hungry at the end, but rather comfort sucking

I'm on a number 2 nipple. I use Avent. It's still slow flow but with 2 holes. I'm afraid to do the fast flow, last time when I tried it with my son he almost choked. So I guess that could be why they are slow. It's just weird sometimes my boy twin will drink it in less then 10 minutes. But most of the time it takes them an hour

My son used to take FOREVER. Not quite an hour, and he chugs it now but we were using a number 1 nipple with dr brown and people couldn’t believe how long it took him to eat

Same here. Me and my husband are like no way it should take that long. I just can't wait till they can hold the bottles themselves. I use bottle props but it does not always work because now they move their heads around a lot
