Anyone else’s S/O just not know what to do when they are having an emotional breakdown??? Like they don’t know how to comfort or act. Literally just had my first bad breakdown this pregnancy... my husband told me to suck it up and pray about it, then he kinda tried rubbing my arm, I told him it upset me that he said that, then he got kinda hateful and went to lay down with my daughter... I feel so hurt but I know it’s mainly my hormones and emotions becoming super overwhelming. It literally felt like my heart shattered. He would try harder on most days but he’s tired today. I’m trying so hard to be understanding because I literally busted into tears out of no where and I’m sure it took him by surprise. We tell each other to “pray about it” a lot, but never when one of us are legit crying. So idk. I’m so over being pregnant y’all 😭😭

Mine tells me to calm down and I’m over thinking or overreacting. He also laughs when dealt with confrontation. Drives me nuts lol

My husband caught me outside crying and came and gave me a talk basically say its all in my head calm down . Not even know my reason for crying

I think it’s hard for guys to handle our emotions sometimes. Sometimes we can react and it makes them feel like we are attacking them. IDK my DH is good if I say something like “I just need you to hold me at let me cry” or something to that effect... but he’s also pretty sensitive and caring about my needs

My husband is a good man and most of the time he tries his hardest to comfort me. The difference between this pregnancy and my first, is with my first I literally cried for no reason, everyday. My thyroid jacked me up my whole first pregnancy and it was terrible, but he had to deal with that and he became a lot better at it because he saw it everyday. This pregnancy I can count on one hand how many times I have cried over silly things or just my emotions, so it’s day and night. Last night was literally out of no where. He had no idea what to do and he even said”I keep putting my foot in my mouth, I’m just gonna let you cry”. Lol at least he acknowledged it. It just hurt more because of how emotionally vulnerable I was at that moment. Things are fine now. Last night was just ridiculous lol.
