We did a combination of breastmilk and formula with our son and plan to do the same thing this time.
I tried to breastfeed, but ended up pumping for almost 4 months I believe. Maybe three but it felt longer than 3. Lol. And now we formula feed. My job just wasn’t very.. good at letting me pump. I had all the legal things I needed, like a place to pump and the time.. but it was causing me to miss out on money and it just wasn’t working For me anymore, unfortunately.
I went from breastfed to bottle fed breastmilk to formula fed but with second Lo I would love to breastfeed and have dad bottle feed breast milk when necessary.
Breastfed #1 to 15 months. He self-weaned when I was 5 months pregnant. Broke my heart. Currently going on 4 months of breastfeeding with #2. The goal is two years 💪
My plan is to breast feed and pump. Dh wants to help, plus I plan on going back to work. Supplement if necessary.
I bottle fed my first two. I had my first when I was 15 and I didn’t have much supply at all but she latched well. I did formula with her. With my 2 year old I had plenty of supply but she couldn’t latch because she has turners syndrome and it affected the roof of her mouth so I ended up pumping for about a month then switching to formula. Now my 2 month old I have plenty of supply AND she latches well!!!! Have to admit, I love breast feeding and I don’t miss bottles or formula!
First I breastfeed for 4 months then had to switch to formula and with my 2nd we are 10 months and counting with breastfeeding 🤱🏻. Like you said fed is best, do what works for you and your family.
Breastfeed and then eventually introduce breastmilk bottles when I have to.
Hey girlies! I plan on breast feeding my LO as much as I can. I also plan to formula feed when needed. Have any of you moms tried organic formulas? How was it? Experience?
Lady at WIC making me feel bad cause I want to formula feed & breast feed my baby, like it isn't my fault my chubby bunny eats 2x what I produce, & I refuse to let my child starve so yes I will formula feed him. 👀😒
Because I have to be on mental health medication after birth I am unable to breastfeed😔 what are some good formulas for babies? I know breast is best but I can’t be on the medication I need and breast feed.
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
opinions about breast feeding while pregnant. the receptionist at my OB told me while making my appointment to start getting her off of the boob, because breast feeding causes your uterus to contract and can cause a miscarriage or preterm labor. any ladies breast feed your LO while pregnant and should I believe the receptionist?? my baby just turned 3 months on the 23rd .I give her breast and formula sometimes. any advice is appreciated👍
