@yatyat Exactly. I wouldn't want all those folks in my room no way. I don't see how they do it. Sometimes I see like 5+ people - that's too much - too much going on to deal with all those personalities, and the pain. Really I'm good with just my husband and like my mama there too. Don't even care for visitors afterwards. I can see them when I'm home. - But of course my 3 sisters are welcome. Everyone else 🤔

Oh I see it all the time, but when the labouring mother doesn't want all of the ppl in her room she tells the nurse & we keep them out. They're not always happy, but it's not about them! I had to have 2 sections & this will be another as well, so I don't have to worry about this scenario. BUT if I didn want whomever in my room & my husband was "forcing" me to allow them in all HELL WOULD BREAK LOOSE 😡🤬🤯

I hope they just wonna come until she starts pushing, I can't imagine them wanting to stay for the push... I see it all the time on TV. Granted even then it's what her comfortability allows. My mom and stepdad were there - he left anytime they needed to do something and definitely during pushing. And neither was there the entire time, came to hospital sporadically throughout the day. I labored for about 16 hours. But anyways, yeah I wish a-husband-would!
