@mummyto2boys Everyone on my street must think I'm mental now 🙈🤣 xx
@megan-leigh, Aweh fingers crossed beaut! Stay strong it is hard but I promise it'll get easier until they get to toddlers 🙈🙈😂😂xxx
@nataliielouiseexo I don't speak to my family and my fiances mum is disabled so she can only have her a couple hours here and there :/ Feel abit better after my meltdown though. And tbh my fiance can be very lazy and seems to think looking after a baby 24/7 is easy. I've told him so hopefully he will help out more x
@megan-leigh it's better for you to let it out instead of keeping it bottled up, you should speak to him and ask for at least an hour to yourself for your own sanity! I do everything round the house too it's annoying, ask him to help when he can I told Gary I needed a little help it's hard work looking after a baby and getting other stuff done, is there no family who can watch her for couple hours? I'm the same probably every 3 days bath/shower by the time I've done everything when I've put Kai to bed, remember it's not selfish to want time to yourself we all need it 😁 x
@nataliielouiseexo Honestly tried everything. O finally got her to sleep for her to be woken up by some one. So we are now layed on the couch having cuddles. She's rarely like this tbh. But with me being due on and not having much sleep it's hard. And I ended up having a breakdown before when they woke her up. I went outside crying and screaming at them 🙈 Think I needed it tbh. And I never really get any time to myself at all. My fiance constantly works. When he's finished he'll have time to himself and has to get a full nights sleep so i have to look after the Baby, clean up, Do all the washing, all the washing up, cook food most of the time. So I manage to get a shower every 3 days if I'm lucky. And maybe manage one meal a day if that x
@megan-leigh I've just seen your reply I hope your boyfriend takes over as soon as he's in from work I know EXACTLY how your feeling I was like this at the start of the week and it's horrible! have you tried taking her out for a walk I sometimes do that and he settles after 15mins, or like @kayteamay has said change her, feed her, wind her, rock her.. I know it's hard and it's overwhelming being a parent is the HARDEST job in the world but it won't always be this hard, I hope your okay! make sure you have time to yourself too bath..candles..pjs..drinks anything to relax by yourself 😄 xx
Right, put her in her noses basket/cot for a few minutes and just sit in a different room, have a drink and calm yourself down. You can’t tackle a problem when you are stressed. Take just a few minutes and go back to her. You are not useless. You are a new mum and I guarantee you EVERYONE feels like this. Babies are hard work but you need to look after yourself aswell. Happy mummy happy baby. Change her nappy, try burping her, then feed her, burp again and just try rocking her. Google tiger hold as it’s a good was to hold and rock baby if they have wind. If she’s still crying do the whole process again, leave her a few minutes, change, burp, feed, burp, rock.
You could even try putting her in her pushchair and rocking it.
Do not let yourself get overwhelmed. If you feel it coming, take those 5 minutes.
I know it seems hard now but it’s not always going to be like this, I promise you x
Take a breath. It won't be like this forever. It's hard because we feel so helpless but just being there and holding her she'll feel reassured. Even if she's still upset.
If she's crying already I guess crying in the bath won't be any different. Least you'd get clean lol.
@sara-lou86 I've tried everything at this point. I'm literally sat here crying feeling useless
Baby massage maybe... Max had bad colic so would have hours of crying non-stop at a time. It is draining and hard when you can't fix it for them. Sometimes just trial and error trying different things & seeing what may help.
can your boyfriend watch her for a while so you can have some time to yourself xx
@sara-lou86 The way she is in not even attempting to take her in the bath. She would just scream...
Do you have a bath? Take her in the bath with you. Cleans you both up plus some relaxing / calm time for you both.
@ezchaz just struggling with the little one. She isn't sleeping and just keeps getting stressed and crying at me 😭 I can't even clean up or get a shower I've just got to sit here and be screamed at. Just feel disgusting and ready to have a breakdown 😭😭
@megan-leigh, haha! Don't worry about it mun! 😂xx
