Hi ladies.
I would like to know what your experiencr was with postpartum bleeding. When did it stop? Did it stop and pick back up? Any information helps.
I stopped bleeding at day 10 postpartum and it started all over again just yesterday. I can't remember how long my bleeding lasted with my first son. It subsides to a pinkish color and when it started all over it was bright red and more like a light period.

@grisi849, definitely didn’t mean lucky to get your period 😂 Lucky to only bleed 10 days.
@grisi849, I mean your baby is only a week out. My OB said they don’t start worrying about bleeding until after the eight week mark. But yes take it easy and just remember if the bleeding gets too bad to call them.
@littleonemorning im going to take it easy then.. im still not trying to leave my home to try and get my body to recover.

Im 5 weeks out I feel I’ve been bleeding this whole time. Just three days ago it started to get heavier as red like a period. I thought it finished at 2 weeks but I was spotting.
I bled for the full six weeks with my first and then got my period right after. The second time around, I bled for like 2 1/2 weeks and then it stopped and then got my first PP period a little over a week ago .
As others have said, you can bleed off and on for the six weeks and after eight weeks is when the doctors want to look at you. I found that when I was on my feet a lot or over worked myself, it could cause me to bleed some more.
I bled like that. After like a week it stopped and I was happy and then a week later it started back up, then stopped, and then right around 5 weeks it picked back up and had me a bit worried but I read about it and sometimes right before your cervix closes back up you'll have one more big bleed
@grisi849, are you on the mini pill? That caused my period to start up right after my pp bleeding stopped 🙄 Agree it could be your period; if so, how lucky lol
@kerryy23 ok maybe that could be it. They say exclusively bf stops a period but not for everyone. I emailed my doctor to see what she thinks but its the weekend and i may not get a response till Monday.
I bled for 5 weeks.. And then a week later bled again really heavy which was my first pp period. It may be your first period starting again. Just try and take it easy. I noticed the more I was up on my feet the heavier I bled xx
@alexistol ok that comforts me. I am wondering if im not resting enough. I've been doing minor picking up at home like washing dishes and cooking when i can. Maybe i need to rest more?
10 days pp is crazy good so I’m not surprised you started bleeding again. I bled the entire 6 weeks.
@alexistol no worries.. my hormones have messed with the obvious of things hahah
