He smacked me in the face when I told him no. So he stood in timeout for a full two minutes. Usually I do a minute to a minute and a half, but that warranted the full two minutes.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
It happened....? 2.5 years and today was the day he heard me fart. I thought I could crop dust him, but it came out full force. He looked at me and busted out laughing. ?

Science! My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
I’m so tired but I can’t sleep. Every time I lay the baby down he wakes up after like 10 minutes. 😴

My daughter use to scream bloody murder help me when I put her in time out. She had the neighbors knock on the door asking if everything was alright.

@nomli, I put my son time out yesterday for 5 minutes, before it was 1 or 2 but each day he getting worse Idk Wut to with him

@briannalynn547, that's what his doctor said! A minute for every year. But true, once they get to a certain age the minute thing won't cut it. He'll be two on Monday so I figured three days wouldn't matter.

When I babysat, I would sit them in for the amount of minutes their age was when they were young . Like if a ten year old was acting up I would obviously not give them just a 10 minute punishment . But your son is almost 2 so good job! They need to learn!

@nomli Time out is one of the only things that sort of works for my son, I've tried everything else and he's usually pretty good too. I don't put him in the corner but I make him sit in the glider until I think he's ready to get up. I don't have a time limit, he's there for however long I think it takes for him to get the idea.

@tinyhumansbitch, I have no idea!!! Maybe because he doesn't get timeout often so when he does he knows he's been bad? I used to have to keep turning him back to face the wall but a few months ago he started just staying 🤷♀️

@skymomof4, he's actually pretty good about it, weirdly. He stays there until the time is up, usually pretty quiet but sometimes he does his fake wail.
