Sooooo at like 2a.m we had to take my son to the ER because he started running a temp earlier yesterday and it wouldn’t break and while he was sleeping he ran a 102 temp! ... after tests they diagnosed him with strepthroat and we let them give him the antibiotic injection/shot in his leg. They watched him 20mins and sent us home and he was normal everything seemed fine.... but today as I was bathing him I notice the back of his arm/elbow has these weird bumps. I’ve never noticed them on him before but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there I suppose but could that be like a type of allergic reaction or what does it look like it could be?? That’s the only spot it’s in and I’m trying to not freak out

@jaidensmommy, they could be fever bumps momma! An allergic reaction would be hard time swallowing, can’t breathe, fast breathing etc that’s why they watched him at the hospital before you left to make sure he didn’t have any

@melissaredfield87, his fever has been gone.. I just spoke with his nurse though and they said it’s a form of reaction of the medication since he received it as a shot it gets in their system faster and I will see more bumps as it’s working. 😩😩 That was scary because after I post this I noticed that was a symptom they said to look out for and call a doctor

Allergic reaction would be a rash all.over him not in one consontrated area. Could be a contact dermatitis. U could use steroid cream on it.
