God OH is annoying me today I may just be in a ratty mood but he's just being a d**k. What's your opinion on This.. he has his daughter who comes and visits 2 nights every 2 weeks so 4 nights a month and sometimes some extra nights during school holidays. Isabella has to share a room with her which is fine and she has her own draws and toys etc. we have bunk beds for them both which are starting to do my head in, their so massive and take up half the room and every night I have to cripple my back to try and carry Isabella in and out of the bottom bunk also changing the beds sheets is sooo annoying! So I thought I would get rid of them and get Isabella a little day bed with either a pull out bed under neath or a sofa bed that folds out for when his daughter comes to stay? Am I in the wrong here for putting Isabella/my needs forward? I know she's his daughter but she doesn't need a whole single bed when we have a tiny house and need more space? If we had her more often fair enough but a few times a month seems pointless?? It's not just this he's generally annoying me today 😂

seems reasonable only 4 nights a month she doesn't need to be in a bunk bend and she probably wouldn't mind sleeping on a pull out bed, kids will sleep anywhere lol x

Seems fine, she's a guess in the house so pull out bed, sofa bed anything is fine really as long as she's comfortable

I can see it from both points of view. He's probably worried his daughter would come over & feel a little upset that her bed has been taken away but at the same time 4 nights a month I'm sure she wouldn't mind a cool pull out bed!

Thanks ladies will have to have a word and maybe let his little girl choose what type of bed xx

I agree with what @carlybeanw said. If I were you I'd be wanting to do the same. I'd probably try and see it from my husbands and his daughters point of view. If it was Isabella would she or you mind if they'd taken her bed and she slept on a sofa bed? I'd probably be ok with that. I know my sister had to do this with her husband's kids because they didn't have space for beds. Maybe involve her and make it out like there'd be more space for them both to have their things without a huge bunk bed... 🤔
