Mamas! We bought Noah a floaty he can sit in and he doesn’t like it! He wants to be in a big boy donut to swim and obviously we can’t let him do that by himself. He leaps off the edge of steps and we have to catch him by the donut. I was think about maybe a life jacket with the foam pillow thing on the back? And the she said put that on him and let him play in the donut? I’m not sure what to do I want him to take swim classes this year for this reason. I need help on flotation devices though!
@kambam, yeah we could try it. I’m so worried that anything but a seat he’ll roll on his front 😭
@kambam, we got the paddle jumper for the daughter and it was 14 something 🤦🏼♀️ I didn’t really care cause I just wanted him to be safe but he doesn’t even like it which is fine I just now need to spend money on something else but hopefully he’ll like a life jacket better
@eryka616, no it’s okay! You were helpful! I just need to keep trying see what he likes!
@noahs.mommy, maybe, I wish I could be of more help sorry
@kambam, that’s what we had on him one day and it didn’t work out so well. Needless to say i was fully clothed jumping in the pool after him even though someone was with him. 😫
@eryka616, yeah Noah is freaking fearless 😒 we went to a family member house not really expecting to swim to much but I had his suit but no floaty cause I thought he’d stay on the step and the step takes up her whole shallow end and only goes up to half my calf so noahs waist. We put on a paddle swimmer thing on him just to be safe and every time he tried to walk off the ledge or bring his feet off the ground he’d roll to his front but maybe that was because the device was too old for him?
@noahs.mommy, nope but she’s not too adventurous so she won’t leave the steps
@eryka616, oh okay! That’s kind of what I was looking for, him and pools make me nervous. For his swim lessons if I take him where my mom took me they don’t even put anything on them they just hold and catch lol does she ever seem to start rolling into her front?
@noahs.mommy, just how bulky it is and it doesn’t seem like it’d work well for teaching them how to swim
@eryka616, what didn’t you like about it? I’ve never used one or even seen them in person I just know they are a thing and I thought maybe buuuut idk
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
So its really over between me n him. Im angry n hurt. He block me from reaching out to him. Im so upset. So i want him to be punish for hurting me. What should i do? I have naked pics of him i want to put out. I want to call his job get him fired. Im so hurt. This is his first child n he dont even want to be here for the birth. 4 damn yrs n it come to this. What should i do? I want Revenge
So mamas I need advice. We take our son to the gym with us and they watch him in their kid care. Well this will be the third time that we’ve gotten called in there to get him because he’s supposedly doing something we’ve never seen or heard of him doing. When I went in there, the girl was holding him, he was in tears and so happy to see me and wanted me to pick him up. I told her I wanted to see him doing what he was supposedly doing. He went on to play with a toy nicely so I told him to come to...
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
@kambam, he really does 😂
