I had my baby at 38 weeks, my water broke. I didn't try to induce myself but we did have a lot of sex but my point is my daughter was perfectly healthy! She's 5 now and never had any issues 😊👍🏼

You will get different answers on this post but 37 weeks is full term and yesterday my midwife told me I could start trying things to induce. Honestly, no matter what you try (besides castor oil - I think is completely dangerous) baby will come whenever baby comes. I think it’s funny we all try different things (including myself and countless research) but when it comes down to it I don’t think it’s really us getting baby to come, ya know?

I wondered this too but i was talked out of it because I was told it can start painful contractions but u may still not dilate....that was enough for me

I was induced the day I turned 37 weeks due to being high risk and my baby boy came out perfectly healthy

Thanks ladies I think my doctor really doesn’t want to induce me but my blood pressure has been so crazy

@briatta, I was induced at 39+1 with my first because of consist high blood pressure (hospitalized the week before that also due to blood pressure and fluid levels).

If you can safely get things moving and get baby to put you into labor on your own I’d go for it. Just make sure you do some research on what’s the safest way to go about this!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Anyone try to use Raspberry leaf tea to try and naturally induce labor at home? If so did it work for you? Pineapple threw me into labor with my son and I'm gonna do that this time around too. But I keep hearing about the tea and picked some up to try and help me out. ***No negative comments on how far along I am, Drs assured me that it's perfectly safe for me and the baby to start trying to induce labor at home starting now.
