I'm not a super social media person. Like i don't post unless its memes, mom jokes (such as should be cleaning but beibg lazy lol) and pictures of my kids. Today i actually DID post something that i wouldn't post. I usually see one or two moms posting about how they think a certain way of parenting is wrong. I don't comment. I may tell my husband something about it but that's it. TODAY i have seen all ovet my time line with moms i never thought in a million of years would say such things. I have seen things posted with word for word "kids who arent vaccinated are gonna die." And comments to others "i cant wait til you greive your child" . i have also seen "you infected your child. What a shit mom" and "my child may die but its your kids fault" we are GROWN mothers saying such things to other mothers. It's disgusting.
Besides that topic. Im also seeing post about how wrong it is to leave your child with a sitter while you do something fun without them. One post about how you dont need to go to disneyland or the beach without your kids. True. But if your child is not old enough to enjoy those places who cares if you dont bring them. Im not saying go to those places without your child 24/7 but once in a while is no issue. Ive seen post about how wrong it is to leave your child home while out to eat. My child is an ASSHOLE (YES I SAID ASSHOLE) when he has to sit still in a highchair while we are out to eat. Depending on where we go we leave him with a sitter. Fast food he comes with, exspensive restaurant he stays. I was always told growing up and by my in laws that partner time is very important. You need to remain in love and enjoy each other outside of being parents. I don't just love my husband for the great father he is. I love him for so many reasons outsjde of parenthood. And yes there are some days i need that date night to remind myself why that is.
We are all human. We all have feelings we all have emotions. We all have opinons and our own choices. We are all different from one another and we ALL need to understand and respect that. We are all parents and we all do it differently.
There is giving advice and there is bashing. Notice the difference and stop it. There is asking for advice and there is wanting to hear and read what you truly want. If you aren't ready for that dont ask.
Im not posting to read comments about your opinions on vaccines. Im not posting to hear your opinions on when is and isnt the right time to leave your kids behind on plans. Im not posting to hear opinions in general. Im not posting to tell you leaving your kids behind is okay all the time. Im not posting to tell you vaccinating or not is right. Im not posting to tell you dont ask or give advice. I AM posting to renind you that none of us are perfect parents. I am posting to remind you that you are doing a wonderful job regardless what other people may think. I am posting to remind you that not all of us do things the same. I am posting to remind you that what other people do with their children is not your bussiness. Ill type that again. What other people do with THEIR children is NOT your bussiness.
Enough judging one another. Dont agree keep it to yourself and move along. Just because something doesn't work for you doesnt mean it wont for someone else. Parenthood is extremely hard. Can we just keep it peaceful with each other?
Thank you for reading this. I hope and i pray that if you needed this reminder it helped you or if you had a bad day it made you feel better.
Your little ones love you so much and they love the things YOU do for them and with them.

Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
No other person can tell you how to raise YOUR child. If what your doing works for you do you. I do what works for me and do me. Just because people have certain ways they raise their children doesnt mean that that is what is best or works for you.
