Got a few minutes to decide if I want the epidural or not. I’ll have back labor which makes things 10 times worse..

I loved my epidural. It was amazing.

@mahaylabaker, Getting it didn’t hurt me at all. It was a lot of pressure, a quick pinch and it was in. I was legit screaming in my husbands face because my contractions were so bad. So I barely even felt anything. But I knew from the moment I got pregnant I wanted an epidural.

I had back labor and went natural.

@bitchcraft, I’m trying to go as long as I can without it, my doctors will be bursting my water here shortly and the nurse said after that my contractions will feel worse. That’s why im thinking of doing them now but don’t want it to ware off

@mahaylabaker, I’ve had two natural births and one epidural and all I have to say is why do women put themselves in so much pain? My epidural was so amazing best decision of my life😘

@mahaylabaker, hell yes it hurt it goes right into your spine my SO had to hold my arms they inject it while sitting up at the edge of bed. Once it was pulled out I instantly felt so much relief from contractions and made my birth so peaceful and amazing! My sisters all get epidurals and all I could think was about them being able to handle the pain and I sucked it up

You've probably already made a decision one way or the other. But what about other drug options? IV? Nitrous oxide? Just throwing other options out there. Good luck momma! You got this!

@leowifey, I have iv in its not even helping with my contractions. It just relaxes my body

IV meds suck they make u feel.drunk and stupid but don't help.the pain

For me, me and baby both had fevers from the epidural. Mine caused issues with a numb sensation in my spine where the injection site was to this day. They didn't do it right even after 4 times. I only was numb on one side and felt tearing and stitches as well as my placenta being pulled out inside. That was my experience only! Lots of women do just fine though. Its really up to you! I got mine after they broke my waters and I was at 7.5 cm. Good luck momma!
