I have a dilemma. Hubby wants to finally take me on a honeymoon (after 4 years of marriage) at the end of the year. He has been looking at cruises and that sounds awesome!! But he doesn't want to take the kids and tbh I can't blame him lol. If we take the kids that's all I will be doing and I will be too focused on them to relax and enjoy to the fullest. Emma will be 9 months old by then and its a 5 day cruise. My mom said she is willing to watch both girls, but do you think 5 days is too much away from a 9 month old?? Shelby will be 3 by then so I'm not AS concerned. What do yall think? Nothing is booked yet but I'm just kinda iffy about it.
I personally would not leave my 9 month old for that long, so I understand your hesitation. A lot of cruise ships offer childcare services
You can so do it... prepare kids now and find out there perfect comforts... and give your mom perfect ideas for fun time and sleep time... and make sure you cleave your mom rewards for them lol
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
Question: 16 year old dating an q8 year old? Thoughts??
My opinion is hell no. 16 year old is still a kid. Kids now a days want to be grown so bad and be in adult relationships and situations. I know when my daughters are 16 and they tell me they are dating an 18 year old. I will surely flip my lid.
icky feelings
Do you think it's normal for a 12 year old girl to shower with a 5 year old boy?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I would do it. When my stepsister was a few months old her parents took her older brother to Disney for a week and she stayed with her grandparents.
But yes, ease into it. If they've never spent the night away from you have them stay at grandma's for a night here and there. Get the older one psyched to stay at grandma's for a week.
