so im like 99 % convinced she has reflux ... she's just spitting up way too much .... and always gets hiccups as she's spits up. any momma experienced this and it turn out to be refluxx??
@mommytonayeliz, yeah my daughter made it known that she was in pain. Still bring it up to your dr though and maybe they will watch her weight more closely just to be sure. If does become an issue medicine is much better for them than thickening bottles.
@modom16 oh ok i sure hope so i mean shez gaining weight and dosent look like shes in pain just the constant spit up while hiccups
Most babies have some sort of reflux issues in the beginning. Needs to be addressed if it’s causing them to be in pain or they’re not gaining weight. If everything seems normal with that then it’s usually just something they grow out of.
@mommytonayeliz, how long does it take her to eat? How much does she eat?
@miaheka i always prop her up to eat i burp her alot when she eats like evrry 1/2 oz or every oz but yet she still every time gets hiccups and with the hiccups she spits up a bumch
Sounds like she could just be eating too fast? Bellamy had reflux for the first 2 months. Hiccups usually mean a baby is eating faster than normal, and spitting up a lot also means the same thing. How are you feeding her?
My 3 month old is throwing up all her milk ! I'm so tired of seeing her spit it all up..Her ped doesn't seem to mind because she's gaining weight! But this time she spitting up more then last few months ! Help what can I do ?
My 3 month old is suddenly spitting up like crazy. She's never spit up before. Is this normal? She is EBF. She's been chewing her hands like no other as well.
Lately after my daughter has had her bottle, instead of burping she's spitting up or she's taking so long to burp that I give up on patting her on the back & then 10 minutes later she ends up spitting up. Does anybody know why?
When Baby Won't Stop Spitting Up...
What do you do?! I've fed her, she spit up. Wanted to eat. Spit up again. A lot. Basically she just keeps spitting up and crying her face off. Do I keep trying to feed her my milk?! Obviously it's hurting her belly. What do I do?!! Ugh she's soooo unhappy right now :(
My 6 month old daughter spits up all the time. While she eats, after she eats. I switched her formula to soy and she's still spitting up. Has any one else gone through this and what did you do?
