Any moms on here struggling with too strong of a milk output? My supply came in pretty strong and quickly and I can see that my tiny baby is struggling to handle the output 🤪 I think it is also making him gassy. I've started trying to squeeze some of it out first and that seems to help him latch on but I still feel like it's not as comfortable for him as it could be. This breastfeeding thing isn't rocket science but it can be complicated. I've been spilling milk everywhere including all over my baby's face lol
I spent the first two weeks at home with my babies basically topless bc I have forceful letdown and I was constantly spraying milk freaking everywhere. Eventually had to start block-feeding with my son. But little girl seems to be handling it better. She still gags on my milk from time to time.
Very common at first. It's good that you're expressing some before latching, you might have to do that for a week or so. If you don't have one, get a fluid syringe. You can feed your baby the milk easily and he won't develop nipple confusion or breast aversion. It gets easier for them by 2 weeks they have to learn 😊 hang in there
I had to pump before I could feed bcuz there was so much she was nurse for a few seconds and choke Everytime it was so sad and she had to eat so fast to
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
