@mommajules, yeah I definitely preferred my vaginal over c-section for sure! I didn’t have a normal “recovery” with my baby though. She had fluid in her lungs and they transported her to the nearby children’s hospital at just a few hours old. She went from the operating room, to the nursery, to my room in a NICU pod for a few minutes, to the NICU at children’s. I didn’t get to hold her til the next day. It would have been 2 days but I got up and walked my ass off the next morning and told them to discharge me or I was leaving AMA.

This time, we are delivering at a hospital with a NICU in it just in case. I am still traumatized over that whole experience a year and a half later. It was not fun.

@tegandavis16, I hope you get your VBAC girl! C-sections are no joke. I remember not being able to move, or hold my baby. After my VBAC I was back to normal in just a few hours! Good luck!

@mommajules, that’s awesome! My first was vaginal, 2nd was c-section, my 3rd is due in October and I am desperately hoping for a VBAC! My last two births will be 21 months apart.

I did🙋🏼‍♀️. I honestly didn’t even know it was dangerous. Successful VBAC, 17 months after an emergency c-section.

Typically they try to avoid pitocin (and there’s another I can’t remember the name of) as they increase the risk of uterine rupture - though only very slightly.

However, they allow cervix softening medicines and Foley bulbs to help induce labor for VBACS. Some doctors/hospitals do allow a very small dose of pitocin just to get things started though. It just depends on where you are and who you go to.

Some drugs used to induce labor have a possible side effect of uterine rupture. With previous c section that increases your risk

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
