I go shopping without my kids when my husband is home and can watch them lol. I don't even try with the kids, it's too much for me. But my kids are bad lol.
My grocery store has an awesome part that I can put both my kids in that looks like a car and they both go sit in it as I walk through before we do use that I had my daughter sick in the one seat and then I put the baby carrier inside and only got what i need. I also only went when i knew there was not that many people so if one kid had a fit i didnt losse my mine of feel embarrassed.
Walmart does store pickup. You order online, park on the side of the store and someone brings your groceries out. Taxes are also much cheaper. On a $200 grocery order I pay like $4-$5 in taxes, total.
I have a set of twins and a 6 year old I use a front pack for one twin and put the carseat in front and the 6 year old walks with hand on cart. I give my 6 year old the behavior talk before going into the store
I have 2 boys and grocery shopping has never been a big deal, one in the big cart and one in the seat and the one in the big cart knows I’ll be putting stuff there. And he helps with taking things out of the cart to be scanned. This has been this way ever since 2nd was 6-7 months and could sit in the cart. As a baby I would put the car seat in the big cart and sit Kenji who was 3 at the time in the seat. Just have to make it work. You actually just made me think about how I would do it now with 3 of them but I probably wouldn’t go without my bf or would just send him so I don’t have to over do it at this point. Baby wearing is great to get things done, I usually only really wore baby in the house because he got heavy fast and regardless I couldn’t do much when I was wearing him lol I felt like a really pregnant woman.
Might sound silly to put a 4 yr old in a basket but I think safety first. And my 7 yr old isn’t allowed to let go of my belt loop no exceptions. I get in and get out. Have a list ready and know exactly what your going for also takes a lot of time away from being in the grocery store if you know what your going for.
Girl I have 4 kids 7,4,2,1 and it is very very hard. But you got to find a routine and do it. When I go pump gas I take out all the kids all by myself and walk in literally 3 ft away and take 5 seconds to give him money for my gas and then walk back and put all kids back in boosters and car seats. It’s hard! But just like it takes me 5 seconds to go in and out takes 5 seconds for someone to get your baby. So if you have someone to be there with you at all times do so. If you don’t then put them in the basket I even put my 4 yr old in the basket. Oh and FYI. Kroger I don’t know if you have one near you but you can shop online and pick up now they bring your groceries out to you without you ever stepping a foot in.
Well mine are spaced out quite a bit. The 14 yr old helps wrangle the 5 yr old and I'll probably wear the newborn once he is here. Plus Wal-Mart grocery pick up 😉
The first time I went with them actually was really scary. I kept thinking like what if someone grabs one of them what I'm I gonna do with the other four? But I've definitely got a routine down and they do to. They know it's business time at the grocery story lol @flower_princess
I have a five and three year old and my husband has a five and four year old. In the summer when they come with us and it's four toddlers to go grocery shopping with it's very hard but it's dueable! I get a big cart with seats and stick the older two in the front, one in the back and one in the baby slot lol
