So a couple months ago we started potty training our 3 year old.. it wasn’t really working so we gave it a break. Now it’s day 7 since we started again, if he’s reminded he will use he potty successfully and sometimes he will even tell you he wants to go.. BUT when it comes to #2 he will go in his pants and hide! He knows he’s doing something wrong! What am I doing wrong? I feel like he should know by now 😔 I’m getting very discourage but we’ve gotten this far I don’t want to give up. Help!

@txmomof5, I just feel like with the pee he should be telling me more often too instead of me constantly having to remind him :(
My daughter did the same thing when it came to pooping. She would run and hide. We used a hospital toilet and put it in front of the tv. We figured out she didn't want to miss anything. She was a little over 4 by the time she was pooping in the bathroom toilet. Lol 😊
Make sure you don’t treat him like he’s bad when he does this. Just tell him no and remind him where pee and poop goes
We did m&ms as a reward. She got two every time she tried to poop. Ours did the same thing for a while

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I just want this pregnancy to be healthy and stress free. This is very special for my boyfriend because he’s been in prison pretty much half of his life & never got to experience any of this. So My coworker does not get vaccinated for anything due to religious practices and she’s worried about our job making it mandatory since they discussed it earlier this week. @phoebesmommy, I do tend to get mad at him so maybe I should stop that and just say no poop goes in the potty :/
