@soontobemommy. Don't worry being dilated means nothing. You could not be dilated at all and then go into full labor that same night. Don't stress about it! It's all at the pace your body is ready! Mine just isn't quite yet!

With my twins I was dilated 3cm for a week then water broke, with my new baby I was dilated to 1 and almost completely thinned for about a month

I've been dilated 1cm since 35 weeks and my due date is today and still at 1cm
