Okay so idk why people are trying to scare me about giving birth but is it true that even after you get an epidural you hurt down there while pushing? Like bad. I was in the room with my sister when she gave birth and she didn't even know if she was pushing or not

With my first, I didn’t have an epidural but I pooped on the table so be prepared. The nurses didn’t even say anything they just wiped it off. I promise you that you will not care during that moment, and the nurses are completely used to it. It’s no big deal. If you do feel it, yes it is unimaginably painful BUT it’s over before you know it and you have a beautiful baby afterwards. And honestly.. you have no choice but to keep pushing 🤷🏼♀️ after that baby is in your arms you won’t care how much pain getting it here caused you.
My second was a c-section and good God almighty getting the epidural hurt so freaking bad. Lol I’m sure it’s because I wasn’t in full blown labor so that was the only pain I was feeling. Lol but jeez.

I got the epidural too early with my first and could feel when I started pushing. It wasn’t too painful mostly just pressure. With my second I couldn’t feel anything at all. They told me to push so I did and she was out in 3 pushes. They actually had to run and call the doctor because they didn’t think she’d come out that fast because I was numb lol
Everyone is different I got the epidural and felt pressure I think the ring of fire was for when I ripped 😩😩 the burning hurt so bad
Exactly. The problem for me is i had an emergency csection because my daughters heart rate declined and they didn’t have time to do anything. I had to go through the csection feeling absolutely everything. 😳 it sucked!
@lillys.mommy, same. I ended up with a spinal block for my c-section because I could still feel with the epidural.
I know people that the epidural worked 100% and people that it didn’t work at all. I unfortunately was one it didn’t work for.
