I did. I used tucks. It honestly sounds more painful then it really is

@curious.george I never knew that natural tears supposed to heal easier than episiotomies that's really nice to know at least I will know what to look out for this time with this pregnancy

None of the stuff they say is supposed to work worked for me. I ended up going to the hospital cuz the pain was so bad. They gave me oxycodon but then a few days later the pain lessened a lot on its own. I had a lot of tearing too

@c.r.a.i Yea I've been cut for my first an second an with this one I'm hoping they want cut me an if I tear it'll be on its own because I went through hell with being tore but never had any advice or heads up on what to expect on it. I cried because I was lost an didn't know what to do to heal from it being I had no help because my kids father would be at work during the a.m. throughout the day. An yea this makes my 3rd boy. Yea I'm glad you didn't tear or need episiotomy neither

@ashleysheikh They gave me that also it worked for the pain at night but not the day an it really just put me to sleep which was hard for me because it would be times I didn't hear my baby crying an he would be in my arms which I didn't like.

@mikidsfirst, yeah that's the bad thing about strong drugs like that. To be honest I haven't even used them cuz I just decided to deal with the pain since it lessened now.

@curious.george See I never knew we had a say so in that an at that time that was my first born so I didn't know what was going on I just know the Dr. I had cut me which I was highly pissed about because of the after effect of what I had to go through which was tough. An they never warned me about none of it. I had to basically figure everything out on my own.

@ashleysheikh Right I had stopped using mines also because of how strong it was an because I felt like I can make my self deal with the pain a lil longer before having to use it again.

@mikidsfirst yupp. Im only two weeks pp just about and have no pain what so ever. Had two stitches btw

I didn’t do anything ! It heals on its own ! I rested a lot and didn’t want to move much ! But for me it took about 2 weeks to get a lil better

Honestly the tears didn’t hurt except for right after I went pee. Just used a peri bottle to rinse, sprayed my lady parts with dermoplast, and lined my pad with tucks pads.

First degree with my first, although it adds to the sting of a pee. I just ensured I was dry and clean, used a peri bottle to spray things down. It healed just fine without anything extra. I do plan on which hazel pads this go around.

@tacos4lyfe Omg the fear of going to the bathroom to even have to deal with it scares me. The dermoplast made me burn the nurse at the hospital sprayed it on me an she said some burn an some don't before she used it on me she said some woman doesn't like it an I was one of them I hate I was because I really wanted it to work

With mines I didn't know whether to stand or sit because or I was afraid of tearing more because of the sting part of it when you would go into sitting position I had used pillows an when it was time for me to get up my feet an ankles would instantly swell before I can make it to the bathroom it was bad for me

I had an episiotomy with both my girls so I had stiches. I used a warm water bottle when I peed to make it less stingy and just bactine spray besides that it wasn't that painful accept for when I was using the restroom.

@melissa_luv228 I had stitches also both my pregnancies I'm hoping for this one I want but if I do which I feel I am I need as many answers as I can get to prepare myself for this pregnancy because I wasn't prepared for my first or second born everything was still new to me

I had 32 stitches and the squirt bottle they give you and the foam spray was life and I was OK until they started healing then that itching was something else

@ambrerumph1440 Ooh Ok! See I can't use the dermoplast because it stung me an I was like no lol that's not for me. But the epifoam I never tried ima look into it an ask the nurses at the hospital if they provide it or not. Yea ikr bathroom was my fright being I had stitches

my daughter tore me down to my butt it took about a month to completely heal i was in pain ill tell u that .. Lol i used a spray bottle warm water everytime i used bathroom dreaded that frfr

@mikidsfirst I hated it I would hold it in as long as possible I even got constipated cause I ain't wanna go yes it did hurt almost everytime I used it until they gave me stool softeners

@terriblock1988 All man so sorry to hear that. That must of been soo painful for you I was cut both my pregnancy an didn't like it not one bit because they had to get the their heads to pass through I'm praying I by pass this one but I'm for sure I want which is why preparing myself now for the worst is my best option.

At that time I couldn't hold mines in because I had a bladder infection an my doctor told me if I was to get one more I could wind up in the hospital an it will be so much worse an that I would have to get my kidney's removed so I learned my lesson for her just telling me that an I stopped holding it in because it wasn't good for me.

@mikidsfirst unfortunately I am diagnose with kidney issues but it's because I had a uti that went up to my kidneys and I lost all my blood platets high fever high blood pressure then it would shoot really low it got extremely bad for me thought I was gonna see the light and so did the Dr stayed in the hospital for 4 days I was literally like a vegetable

I had a small that took two stitches and I used that foam that they give you and witch hazel religiously.
