I would leave it in until you start stretching....then u can get a maternity ring...it's just a much bigger one to keep the hole open. They may make u take it out for delivery or u might have to take it out early due to stretching but since u just got it I'd try to keep it open as long as possible

Yep I left mine in both pregnancies until my belly button got sore lol strangely enough right there was the ONLY stretch mark I got with my first and so far my second 😂 they do make those really long pregnancy belly rings but I thought they were ugly so I just took it out. It never healed though, it went right back through after I had my first. Considering yours is a new piercing it just depends on how quickly it heals and if it decides to grow back or stay open. Id keep it in till you can't anymore.

I have my only stretch mark on belly button. I switched to plastic one but got reaction from it. Then went back to my regular one. Had it in during birth as well.

I got mine done at like 4 weeks pregnant and it wouldn’t heal it got super infected. So I had to take it out. 😞

I’ve had mine pierced for 10 years and had to take mine out because she seems to like to sit right behind my belly button so it hurt to even have the maternity ones. If you heal quickly I would buy the maternity belly button ring to switch to when your belly starts stretching.

I left my regular belly ring in until I was at the hospital to deliver my first. I have no stretch marks around it. I plan on leaving in it the whole time this time also unless it gets uncomfortable. I never tried a maternity one but I also never needed it.
