Me and my husband decided to wait the day of birth to see what we are having. I love not knowing it brings more excitement in my pregnancy
I found out with my first 2. We have a boy and girl and we aren’t finding out this time. I thought I could never not know. But it’s really not bothering me at all! And it’s more exciting I think!
@hraven10, my stepmom came to anatomy scan, and during the part where the tech checked that she peered intently while I closed my eyes, haha. I wasn't worried she'd figure it out, though. She thought the heart was the brain.
I didn't care, and I'm not a huge fan of pink walls so the nursery was going to be some shade of blue anyway 🤷♀️
@hraven10, yeah I read it on avents pregnancy plus app they pull articles for you to read everyday. This specific one was about wether to wait or not and pros and cons.
@nomli yesss it's driving me family and friends crazy, they like just tell the doctor to call me lol I'm like nope you gone find out when I find out
We are doing the same thing. I have one of each already so this baby is our tiebreaker. :)
We didn’t find out gender with our first until she was born. It was way cool! Super fun!
I hear it also gives you extra motivation to push and ignore pain. A lot of women say this
I loved not knowing. I also loved how much it drove various friends and family members crazy. It did make my nurses super excited to be able to hold up the baby and tell us, too.
@jackie.blake it doesn't bother me either
