What does your uterus feel like? Because right above my pubic bone it’s getting all firm and it feels like there’s veins and I don’t know what it is but it feels really weird. No doctor has confirmed I’m pregnant but I did hear my baby on a Doppler, so is this normal? (Please no rude comments)

@angelreaper171, when you take the diluted pregnancy test today, post the pictures. You can take any test, including digitals.
@angelreaper171, you could also go to your Primary Dr. too, and say you’re not sure if your pregnant or if there’s something medically wrong.
Also if you don’t feel like you’re getting good care from your ob dr I would go to a new one. If they aren’t believing you now, I can’t imagine later on when you are asking about all the changes in your body, and them not believing you. Your body changes so much. Every week I feel like I have new symptoms.
Exactly @penelope127. When it’s your first pregnancy everything happens later in pregnancy or takes longer to show or feel movements. Everyone is different but still.
You can even go to the health department for them to confirm pregnancy. I didn’t start showing a bump until 16 weeks. That’s when my belly started getting hard.
You have been trying to get pregnant? Or trying to get them to believe you. I honestly think it’s not pregnancy I think it’s something else. You could put your mind to ease today if you went and even bought a cheap 1$ test from dollar tree and tested. It would pop up. The accurate results. Sometimes there’s a such thing as like ghost pregnancy or something like that where a mom will think she is pregnant and convince her mind she is and she will start having symptoms she will even not have her period. That’s why you need to get looked out. It could be a list of things... some could be serious.
@penelope127, they won’t believe me I have tried and they just look at me like I’m stupid. I’m 17 and one nurse looked at me and said I didn’t look pregnant and that it’s just my hormones which it’s not. If I start to actually show soon and they still don’t believe me I’m going to go off the wall. I have been taking prenatals ever since I’ve been trying so at least 4 months.
@lincolnsmommy18, Yeah, when I had a positive pregnancy test for this pregnancy I’m carrying now, they just ordered me to have blood work at the lab, no appointment needed. Just tell them you think you’re 14 weeks pregnant and you have some irregular bleeding. With RH Negative, if you have it, your body will fight the baby and make you miscarry. There’s a shot the dr gives you to make it ok. You’ll need it again closer to delivery if you are rh-negative.
It’s worth calling the drs office back, and you can even speak to a nurse when you call the drs line to see what the best plan of action is.
If your not already, start taking pre-natals asap. Baby needs folic acid among other things.
A urine test is just as good as a blood test now that you would be “16 weeks” I know everyone’s hcg levels are different but my test instantly popped up positive at 6 weeks if that. You need to go ASAP it’s not something to take lightly...
@lincolnsmommy18, oh did I mention that they did a test on me also and took no blood for pregnancy and told me I’m delusional?
Go to the ER! That’s serious, I honestly think something isn’t right. If you are pregnant you would show up on test. The fact that they are negative is weird. Especially since you said your body is changing. It could be other things that could be medically wrong. To put your mind at ease I would go to the hospital or an urgent care.

@angelreaper171, if you think the hook effect is going on, from having too much hcg now, all you have to do is dilute it. Just mix in half water to the sample of urine, then dip the stick.
@lincolnsmommy18, I don’t know but yes I’m that late. And I can feel my stomach and it’s getting firm and like I said before I have all these pregnancy symptoms and my boobs are killing me and they are growing my boobs never hurt on my period.
If you are that late it would have shown up on the doctors test or any test you did. By my 16th week I had 2 ultrasounds and found out the gender. Something doesn’t seem right
@lincolnsmommy18, I have taken many and nothing it’s to late I think. I think my hcg is leveling out and I think I had low to begin with so I don’t think I’ll ever show up on a pregnancy test
@angelreaper171, all you need is a blood test. Then if that shows up with hcg in your blood, then I’m sure they will want to do a first exam on you.

@lincolnsmommy18, the nurse didn’t even try until about my 16 week appointment, and it took her awhile to get it.
My first pregnancy I had, I tried using a Doppler on myself, and turns out baby passed on at 6 weeks. I ended up having a missed miscarriage, and was picking up my own heartbeat.
@lincolnsmommy18, I’ve had my hopes up for a while. But I know what I felt and I know you can get your own heartbeat but it wasn’t it was the baby’s because I can feel where the baby is and that’s when I get the heartbeat. My period is 4 months late. I had some irregular bleeding so that’s what made me get the Doppler because I can’t get the doctors to believe me.
I would demand a blood test. Because like comments above you should have gotten at least one scan done.
If you can feel your body changing then it would pop up on a test . Especially if you felt flutters. @penelope127, what are you thinking? I know that with the Doppler’s you can hear your own heart beat too. I tried way to early and thought the same thing and my doctor said it was mine because baby is too small. I’m not trying to be negative I just don’t want you to get your hopes up.
@sara672014, I know that’s why I want to make sure everything is okay. My whole stomach is getting really firm. I just can’t get them to believe me so they are going to have to see for themselves

I would be requesting more tests or get a second opinion from another doctor. At 14 weeks you should have already had one scan by now.

@penelope127, no I don’t have kids already this would be my first. My drs appointment with an ob is on the 22nd I don’t know my blood type

@lincolnsmommy18, I have been to the doctor they don’t believe me because I’m not showing up on tests. I made another appointment because I was having irregular bleeding and that’s on June 22nd

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
