I’m so upset right now. 😭

My parents have been on me m now for over a month about getting my tubes tied. I don’t want to be fixed, I eventually want more kids, I shouldn’t have had 2nd so close together. But they are constantly saying I don’t need anymore. Blah blah blah.

YOU’VE NEVER RAISED MY KIDS. & they never will. When they kept them so I could work, they were paid $100 a week (my moms price) plus extra if I wasn’t able to make it to the store for supplies for them. Bc my work schedule was super crazy at one point.

I don’t receive any government assistance. Expect WIC. No food stamps, no child support. I pay all my bills. But yet they feel the need to hound me about having kids ? 😓😓

Girl it’s your body, your life, your decisions. Yes they are your parents but their ability to have control stopped when you turned 18. I’m almost 23 and my mom still tries to do similar things so maybe you just need to talk to them about that and explain that it’s about what makes you happy in your life

My parents are the same way. I really was letting it get to me, but they aren't paying my bills, they aren't assisting in my daughter's care at all. Aside from her once a week visit to them (they asked for this) they don't do anything extra for her. They are awesome grandparents, but they have no right to tell me how or when to have my family.

Tell them it's none of their business. It's YOUR body. It would probably be hard to find a doctor who would fix you anyway considering you only have 2 kids. And if they were to catch on to you not wanting to do it 100% they'd probably say no. If you're raising your kids and being a good mom then don't worry about comments like that. I've had my fair share of rude comments from people for being young and having my kids so close in age. I just take it like a grain of salt and move on. Unfortunately there are a lot of people now a days that think having kids is bad.

My mom tried to get me to tie my tubes after my second child and I said no. I knew that I would meet my husband one day and we would want a child together. I met him and my stepson a few months after having my son. Two years later we had a daughter and got married. You do what you want. Don’t listen to your parents about something that you don’t want done to your body.

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
