My 3 yr old daughter a thyroglossal duct cyst in her neck.

Tomorrow she is having surgery,the procedure is called a cyst trunk procedure and will be approximately 1hr and 30 mins.

She will have to get two small incisions in her neck, one to remove the cyst and one to remove a small bone in the upper neck called the hyoid bone.

This is the first time I’ve ever been through a situation like this and I am extremely nervous and worried about her because she is so young. I haven’t been able to sleep for the past 2 days because I keep thinking about it, not to mention but I’ve also been having various nightmares.

I have been remaining positive and strong in front of my daughter because I don’t want her to sense my fear and become scared.
