My mother is the same way

Omg i seriously hate mine. She’s totally negative all the time and says these stupid comments that aren’t necessary then plays victim when you call her out on it. For example she thinks that my dh runs the show but fails to realize that both dh & I are a unit. So what she does is if I say one thing she’ll run to dh complain & twist my words. Or if she gets my kids gifts she gets them stuff that doesn’t fit them, already have, or don’t need. When you politely ask where she got it from or ask for a gift receipt she gets but hurt and asks for the gift back. So I don’t even ask anymore and I end up selling the stuff and putting the money in my kids piggy bank or I donate it. Just the other day my mom and her were over my house and she snatched both my kids from my mom and when she was about to leave she says to me when ever you want me to come over and see the kids let me know. Mind you I’ve never ever denied her to ever see my kids. She just chooses to not come around. With my son she only started coming around two months before I gave birth to my dd. My son is 2 1/2 so yeah...and now she’s doing the same with my dd all because she’s pissed that I didn’t answer one text message. Like she definitely needs to get over herself.
