I need help!!! My daughter we will 1 on July 25, and I'm not sure how to wean her. She doesn't take bottles or pacifiers and she won't sleep without nursing. Honestly she won't do anything without nursing. She's eatting fine and she will drink water from a cup but not breast milk. I'm fine with nursing her as long as we are both happy but, I can't leave her with my husband more than 2 hours or she will have a crying fit.
I did the same as @southerngirl.89 when I night weaned my son. I only offered him the water in the 360 cup at night and within a week or so he stopped waking to nurse and was sleeping through the night. During the day I weaned by dropping one feed at a time. I think the first one I dropped was the mid afternoon feed. I would distract him when he wanted to nurse or offer him a food snack instead. That helped. Then I dropped the mid morning feed. Eventually I only would nurse him after he woke up in the morning and woke up after naps. Then I slowly dropped back to only nursing him when he woke in the morning & eventually cut that one out. It’s a process & you’ll need to find what works for your baby, but it can take a while. My gradual weaning during the day took place over 5-6 weeks.
@babylove924, you’re welcome! I’m glad she loves it! The struggle is real when these babies won’t take anything but breast lol.
@southerngirl.89 I bought the cup she loves it so far thankkkkkk YOUUUUUU!
@babylove924, you’re welcome! For some reason she’s really picky with cups and I bought that one on a whim and she actually used it. I tried to get her to use some cheaper ones and she doesn’t like them lol
@southerngirl.89 thank you! I'm going to buy that cup and try night weaning first. Today will be my first attempt!
I night weaned my 15 month old. She never took a bottle or pacifier, the only sippy cup she likes is the munchkin spoutless 360 cups- only that brand. So at night I fill it up with ice water and let her snack and nurse until she’s full then I lay her down. At first she would wake to nurse and I would just offer her the cup. It took a week or two but she started just getting the cup herself if she woke then going back to sleep. Now as for daytime.... were still working on that lol
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
I breastfed my son til he was almost 19 months. Are you wanting to wean her? If you don’t want to there’s no reason you absolutely have to stop!
