Freaking out
I know it's early, but I've felt baby move everyday for the last 7 days. But I haven't felt her today, I wasn't too worried at first. Then my daughter wanted me to find baby's heartbeat on the Doppler, which is much easier to find now. But I couldn't find it. So now, of course, I'm losing my mind ? I've seen several posts on here about late miscarriages and that added to my being unable to find the heartbeat and not feeling movement today has me super stressed.
Thanks ladies! ? little stubborn butt just had to scare me for a bit lol
This happened to me yesterday. I always find the heartbeat pretty quick and yesterday I couldn't find it and she wasn't moving. So I drank orange juice, tried to chill out and went to find it again...luckily then I found it and have felt her move since.
But I understand your freak out!!
Well right after my last comment I went to check for her heartbeat again and found it :) and then she kicked a few time. It's was 142 bpm and that makes me feel good since that's about what it was at my ultrasound last week ? thanks ladies!
I never worried when I couldn't find the heartbeat earlier on. But since about 14 weeks I could find it quickly every time, which I only did once or twice a week. This never really happened with my first daughter until I was much further along, so I went to the hospital with her. And she was totally fine. Just being lazy lol
I'm trying not to worry myself enough to go to the hospital because I live in an extremely small town and our ER won't do anything that deals with OB. So the closest place is an hour away. I just wish she would move already.
Sometimes it is very hard to find the baby's heartbeat on the doppler. I was told by my doctor not to purchase one for my home because I'm not trained on how to use it. I see where a lot of nurses discourage you from doing it on your own because sometimes you might not find it. I went to the hospital around 17 weeks and the nurse couldn't find it, but when they did a ultra sound my little pumpkin was okay. So don't worry yourself, because of course stress makes things even worse. I would take it easy and if you really can't wait until your next appointment, then go to ER and make sure everything is okay. At least then you will have a piece of mind about it. Always stay positive :-)
I'm going through this right now... Haven't felt baby move since Monday which is very abnormal. I'll call my OB tomorrow if I still don't feel anything
