I'm going through this right now... Haven't felt baby move since Monday which is very abnormal. I'll call my OB tomorrow if I still don't feel anything

Yay so glad! I was about to tell you maybe you should go ahead to the hospital! But so glad baby decided to surprise you at the perfect timing :)

This happened to me yesterday. I always find the heartbeat pretty quick and yesterday I couldn't find it and she wasn't moving. So I drank orange juice, tried to chill out and went to find it again...luckily then I found it and have felt her move since.

But I understand your freak out!!

Well right after my last comment I went to check for her heartbeat again and found it :) and then she kicked a few time. It's was 142 bpm and that makes me feel good since that's about what it was at my ultrasound last week ? thanks ladies!

I had this happen around 16 weeks, she didn't move for 2 days straight, or I hadn't felt her anyways. I contacted my doctor about my worries and they sent me right over for an ultrasound. If anything call your doctor just to settle your mind a bit.

I never worried when I couldn't find the heartbeat earlier on. But since about 14 weeks I could find it quickly every time, which I only did once or twice a week. This never really happened with my first daughter until I was much further along, so I went to the hospital with her. And she was totally fine. Just being lazy lol
I'm trying not to worry myself enough to go to the hospital because I live in an extremely small town and our ER won't do anything that deals with OB. So the closest place is an hour away. I just wish she would move already.

Also at 17 weeks I felt flutters too, but then some days I wouldn't feel him at all. The bigger he gets the more he moves now and I'm 20 weeks :-)

Sometimes it is very hard to find the baby's heartbeat on the doppler. I was told by my doctor not to purchase one for my home because I'm not trained on how to use it. I see where a lot of nurses discourage you from doing it on your own because sometimes you might not find it. I went to the hospital around 17 weeks and the nurse couldn't find it, but when they did a ultra sound my little pumpkin was okay. So don't worry yourself, because of course stress makes things even worse. I would take it easy and if you really can't wait until your next appointment, then go to ER and make sure everything is okay. At least then you will have a piece of mind about it. Always stay positive :-)
