Lol first time i took my daughter was at 1 because she would fall asleep never cried now shes 2yrs 7 months thinking to take her to the incredible movie
My daughter is 3.5 and still has never been to a movie theater. She’s never been good at sitting still and won’t watch an entire movie at home. I think it really depends on the child.
My daughter will sit and watch a movie. We’ve been taking her to the theater since 4 months old and I’ll be taking her this week to see The Incredibles 2

If they can sit down and watch a whole movie at home with out getting distracted or getting up then your child is ready for the movie theater

@mama_kat89 that's what I was thinking. My daughter is 2.5 but doesn't even sit still at restaurants haha.

Dd is 2 now, but we started taking her to the drive in at a little over 1. That way the only people she's disturbing when she gets bored is us.😆
