You heal quick and can get back to most regular activity the same day! It may be easier to breastfeed and bond after natural birth.
The cons being: very painful, tiring and I didn't fully enjoy my birth. It went perfect and it was great don't get me wrong but I was soooo burnt from labor that pushing was hard and after my baby came out I was really out of it. I feel like mom's who get epidural enjoy all the stages because they aren't focused on the pain.
Pros: I felt awesome after giving birth, I got to go home in less than 24 hours because I had no stitches or anything for them to monitor, although there were some obvious discomforts afterwards they went away quickly and within days I was feeling completely normal, I feel very proud of what my body was able to accomplish.
Cons: Honestly none, the benefit of the quick recovery I had far outweighs any pain I went through during labor in my opinion.
After was nice it healed very quickly, only one stitch. I was able to move around immediately too. It’s very intense and painful but being able to feel everything and not be numb helped me with pushing. I pushed twice and he was out. Walking around was helpful for me too. I felt him completely drop and that’s when I knew it was time.
