Woke up last night to intense contractions for about two hours. Waited it out and eventually I was able to go back to sleep. This morning I woke up to some more and I plan on going to work but I’m pretty nervous this is going to turn into something by the end of the day. Any advice? Thoughts? Experiences? I won’t go in until I’m in pain to where I can’t talk but I don’t feel like these are BHs because they do start in my belly and wrap around to my lower back.
@kristinawithak25, I drink enough water. It wasn’t dehydrated. Thanks tho. And I called my midwife she said to come in when they are more painful.
If it’s not baby time. We start getting contractions cuz it’s our body saying we need water drinks lots of water if it hasn’t calmed down call your doctor make and apt
@dmomma fair enough! In which case, seems like your best option is lots of water and hope for the best!
@techie_grrl, well I know 33 weeks is a little different from where I’m at. I’m almost 37 (I know not full term yet) but if I was to go in the hospital in labor I wouldn’t want them to stop it so I don’t think I should call into work. As much as I want to because I just feel so miserable and I teach 1-2 year olds I would hate to call in and nothing happen. :/
Unless you're ready for baby to come now, I'd take it easy. Call in to work and lay down. I didn't listen to my body with my second and thought "oh, it's just a little uncomfortable" and he came at 33 weeks. I'd spent all day unpacking boxes from our move. I was hurting but kept saying to myself it's most likely from all the physical activity. It was. I put myself into labor and they couldn't stop it. Wish I could redo that day so my son could have stayed in a bit longer...
This is how I feel now. Im trtong to wait it out but at the same time go in at the right time
@kristinawithak25, thank you! I have an appt tomorrow
