Hey moms! Anyone had trouble with getting their baby to crawl? My son hates tummy time he cry’s most of the time and he also isn’t able to fully sit up on his own yet and I’m totally beating myself up about it😒 so if someone could give me some pointers or something that’d be great.. he does have 1 tooth and one half way in if that matters lol

@jasiahsmom, i use boppy pillow for tummy time and helping him sit up. now he throws it around and rolls all over it. just experiment and see what he likes and prefers!
@jasiahsmom the boppy helps them to learn how to sit it sort of holds them up till they can sit unassiated

And also he doesn’t really want to stand on his legs either he’ll do it when he feels like it but other than that he’s like nope. I just hate to feel like all of this is my fault.. my son had surgery at 3 months so every since the I have kinda been terrified for him to do anything.. or go places etc could this be happening due to the surgery?
I bribed mine with cartoons on my tablet. We don’t have a tv, so cartoons are a novelty item. That’s how I got him to do tummy time. He hated it, cried non stop. I let him watch cartoons and he’d lay there for 20 minutes no problem. He started crawling at 7.5 months, he’d crawl to get at the tablet yet still couldn’t sit up unassisted. He’s just now learning to sit by himself this week, still falls over.
I second a sit me up seat or a Bumbo to help with the sitting up. As for crawling some babies don't crawl till around 10 months or so. Does he have a favorite snack? Maybe you cqn try putting those on the floor to see it he'll go to them
My daughter loved knocking down towers, so I would set them up out of her reach and she'd start going for them. I'd move the towers further away as she got better at getting to them. It's also how I got her to start rolling over. She was so distracted by the tower that she forgot how much she hated tummy time.
She kind of skipped over crawling though for the most part and never really did it right lol. It was always a half crawl/half walk. Then she just started walking shortly after, but that was on the early side.
My son was like that too. I just kept practicing with him, give him different toys to craw tow and play with on tummy time. Use a boppy pillow to help him sit.
Also Talk to your babies dr he could have a delaying and they would tell you what more to do. My son is

I’m so tired but I can’t sleep. Every time I lay the baby down he wakes up after like 10 minutes. 😴
Idk if this is a little to harsh but my stepson is 2 and 7 months now the time outs are not working so I stepped it up a little and decided to take all toys away and tv away for whatever he has left of the day till bed time. Gets it taken for hitting us or throwing toys or kicking... He kicked me right in the mouth last night so he didn't get his toys till after nap and no cartoons and thats around 4pm is this to much??
Moms! My baby's bottom is just so torn up and hot:( this rash won't go away fast enough! It hurts him so bad when he screams he throws up multiple times while getting changed! I don't know how to help him quick enough! Help!😭😭
I need some advice my babies father gets really mad when he drinks liquor. He woke me up and started a big argument about the thermostat he completely destroyed the room and choked me this is the 2nd time he has done this. I'm going to church today and I'm not sure of what to do when he starts calling and texting to talk to me because he realized he messed up. I need some advice and solutions to help the problem.
My baby was on enfamil gentlease but he was throwing up with it so they switched him to enfamil nutramigen and hes throwing up a ton more with it like alot hes been on it since 9/20 what should i do?
Update! One day out of the blue he just started doing it!!! Now on to walking!
