Any suggestions on transitioning toddler from milk in a bottle to milk is a sippy cup? She takes a few sips and then leaves it.

I waited till a holiday (the one I did was easter) and told my son the Easter bunny took his bottle and for him a bunch of sippy cups for his easter basket. He didn’t even ask for his bottle. If you say bottle he tells you the bunny took it. If all else fails my ideas worth a try !

Well then unfortunately I don’t think I have advice on that. My daughter gets a cup of milk when she wakes up and milk with dinner but otherwise water throughout the day so it’s almost like she gets a little happier to have the milk instead of boring water. Good luck!
@ltee oh no it wasnt. Weve gotten rid of them. I think there is some attachment, as once she figures pit theres milk in there its a no go but uses the cup when its juice or water no issue. Normally she like to walk and drink with the bottle warmed, so weve let her do that with cup and nothing lol.
Oh hmm that’s different than what I was thinking. So she’s not attached to the bottle but doesn’t want milk now that you’re not using one?
I hope that didn’t come off as harsh. I’m not sure if her attachment level. We switched to a straw cup at one and I treated my daughter’s cup like a bottle. For example, when getting her up in the morning I would still bring milk in to her room but in a straw cup instead and sit with her on my lap just like I used to do with a bottle. At first she was hesitant but once she realized that was how she was getting her milk now she didn’t have a problem

She does fine with juice and water in her cup with a straw bit the same cup gets no love when milk is in it.
My suggestion would be to just get rid of the bottles since it’s evident that she has the ability to take a drink from the sippy cup. Let her help you throw them away and say goodbye
If u find something that works let me know. My sons 2 and it’s the only way he drinks. He will let it go when he’s ready

Im trying to be vegetarian and dont want my 3 month old drinking cows milk anymore. Would it be okay to switch??
So since Eliana just drinks almond milk now it's hard to take extra milk with us anywhere.. So I guess my question is, is there like little take along almond milk boxes? Last night we was at my sil house and she had two bottles and ran out so I had to run to the store and buy a whole thing of milk 🤦🏻 it would be sooo much easier if I could find some in little milk boxes!!

Update:
Since the transition from bottle to cups, its a no go on milk! She might drink an oz or two but no more. So weve had to get other forms in. Shes a rice crispies and milk fan. Seems to be doing well!
