This is my first and I want to start stocking up on diapers. How much should I get for each size?

I agree with iwannaplay I have a couple gift cards for diapers, wipes and formula(I plan on breastfeeding but you never know). I bought a pack of like 180 plus another of 88 of newborn plus I have a small pack of newborn and size 1 from baby shower

I buy my diapers in boxes.. I always by 2 boxes of each and if I don't use a box or my baby goes on to the next size I just go to where I bought them from and exchange the box for a bigger siz3😁

Don’t do it just put that money on a gift card. Babies get reactions sometimes and if you have that happen it’s a pain to deal with

I don’t have family here so that’s why I want to stock up on diapers

We waited... when I had my baby shower I had a diaper raffle and got soooooooo many diapers I most likely won’t be using them all .

I wouldn’t do that many newborn diapers... I would do

1 pack of newborns

3 packs of size 1s

3 packs of size 2s

And that’ll be it. And since you are a FTM, at your shower, you could have on the invitations that if your guest brought a pack of diapers, they will receive a raffle ticket for a prize.

Most places allow unopened boxes to be exchanged. I only got one pack of newborn because I wasn't sure how big he'd be. Which is good because he went into size 1 right away, haha. By four months he was in a size 3, so I had a lot of unopened 1s and 2s.

I usually exchanged the unopened boxes at Target or BuyBuyBaby.

If you do happen to buy to many of one size of the box or bag is I open you can always switch them out at your local Walmart or target usually with no problem

@kyra.mcdonald9 you can always donate the diapers you don't use to a mother in need! That's what i do, I give all the diapers my son never used to my SIL for her baby boy.

@mckallalynn.., oh don’t worry wipes I don’t care how many we get I just want to make sure I don’t overstock on diapers since I might not have more kids

We did 5 packs of newborns 10 packs of 1s 10, packs of 2s & 200 size 3s. Not including what we got at the babyshower. Also stock up on wipes. It's nice not having to worry about buying diapers for awhile.
