Is it possible for my 16 month old to get thrush!? I really think he has it.. he has white blister looking things all in his mouth and all on his tongue 😔 he was fine when he when to bed and when I went to brush his teeth this morning he kept fighting me and so I looked and there’s blisters everywhere 😕
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Rant: my son is almost 16 months, yes, I whoop his butt when he runs from me when I try to change his butt or get him dressed, and yes, I spank his butt if he flips over during a diaper change, and yes I smack his hand when he hurts other people, and yes, it has helped a lot.

Yes. Thrush is basically a yeast infection in your mouth anyone can get it.
If it’s bad and he’s not eating I would take him to the pediatrician they’ll prescribe you a mouth wash and antibiotics

The blistering that you mentioned would have me concerned about hand foot and mouth disease. In which case you should take extra precautions with your other children until you know more as hf&m spreads very easily

Yes ma’am my son had it right before he turned two. They kept insisting it was hand foot and mouth because he was to old. I ended up taking him to children’s and they said he definitely had it. Any age can get it and they put him on meds and it cleared up pretty quickly. Just make sure he’s still taking fluids !

@johnell, thank you! He seems to be drinking okay.. but he keeps rubbing at his mouth like it hurts 😕
