I cosleep with my toddler most of the time, but when he’s in his own bed I use the baby monitor. We have a Motorola (cannot remember which one) and we love it. Our only issue is it doesn’t seem to hold a charge very long. I love the FaceTime idea!

@rachelleclister, thats what my friend does! she has a ipad she leaves with her son & carries around her phone around the house. she puts it on a higher shelf next to the crib which comes in handy for her to have the whole full view.

I have an iPad and iPhone definitely gonna try this. I’m tryna transition my son to his room I just want to make sure I can see him until he is old enough to not be watched.

@rachelleclister, i use mine & hubbys phone i mute mine so my daughter wont wake up from hearing it we either tilt it towards her or just put it next to her to be able to hear her. u can use a tablet or anything like that if u have anything like this i would recommend that, its the same thing as a baby monitor i dont really find any use to them. i did have one & it did come in handy but its a waste of money & u have to worry about being able to see the baby, & how far u can go with the device.

We have the sound monitor. And we have a home security system with one camera in the baby room.

I use SnugCam. Love it. Going to buy a 2nd for next baby!
