So I got rushed to the hospital we thought my water broke a big gush followed by incontrollable trickling well I got there said it's nothing bit saw a little blood so I have to stay well fast forward and well I had to get poked 7 times for an iv and during those 7 times I felt another gush and they told me I peed myself so I asked to go pee I sat on the toilet another gush and then I went pee well after that I went to ultrasound literally 2 min after I pee I lay on the table and I feel a smaller gush but a constant trickling no matter how hard I try to hold it I couldn't stop it well the did a vaginal scan to check my cervix cuz baby was right by my pelvis and there was a huge gush water up to the middle of my back and down to my knees all soaked and I couldn't stop it she pulled the covers off it was clear fluid got checked again said it wasn't my water but I over heard the doctor saying she saw a pocket of fluid in my vaginal cavity but my ob said she saw nothing so if it's nothing then what caused all that on an empty blatter

I would think discharge too but there was like way more than just discharge and it was huge gush of fluid that soaked thru pads and Sheets and clothes and the ultrasound showed a pocket of fluid

that’s not right, same thing happened to me couple days back , immediately they tested the clear fluid that was gushing out of me and checked my cervix to see if i was dilating , they also did a ultrasound to see if there’s any fluids around the baby , they said if there is then it is your water breaking.

Nope I'm laying in the hospital bed they looked at it under a microscope but said it was nothing and I shouldn't worry about it and ever since that huge gush I wipe and it's all mucus and a little bit of blood and they said it's probably just ultrasound jelly like I'm confused I just want answers and I want proof and confident answers not oh don't worry about it

wth did they send u home then? can't they test the fluid?

I would demand to know what they think it is, especially being 31 weeks if it is your water they need to get the steroid shot for baby’s lungs in you like yesterday, to help the baby with his breathing.

Exactly like every time I asked questions about if it's not my water what is it and what's a pocket of fluid I get told that oh it's nothing don't worry about ur fine and no explanation

@liz41395 that doesn't sound like you're peeing yourself... How can they not know what it is? Get another opinion... Like what will cause a pocket of fluid in the vagina?

Had an urge to pee so when I got up and painfully waddle to the bathroom I couldn't sit in time so I tinkled standing up and strangely it was little by little than a gush of liquid just freely coming out. Mind you the first I tinkled it hurt a bit and I started contracting than more liquid was released before gushing all out. I'm not sure if I had alot to pee or I witnessed my water actually breaking with my very own eyes. 😕😕😕😕

I need help I guess 😅 I think my water broke but I’m not sure. Everyone keeps saying it’ll keep trickling out but all I had was a big gush of fluid and then I peed a little while later but nothing since. I’m not having major contractions or anything right now. This happened maybe an hour ago? ETA: they’ve always broken my water at the hospital so I’m never had it break naturally.
