Random...lol Is it just me or is anyone else fascinated with umbilical cords?? Every time I see one…

Ohmigosh, they’re so cool! They look super thick, too. The placenta, too! I can’t believe we grew a new organ for our pregnancies lol. I didn’t get a chance to see ours in person, b/c I had a c-section, but I totally wanted to ask to see it haha. I just wanted to see Baby even more. Also, it took my husband a couple of snips to get through the cord!

Ironically, I wish I had been as obsessed with the cord as you! We paid for cord banking, but with all of the stress and super fast speed that he came, they didn’t ask us ????? So we didn’t think to say, “Wait! Keep the cord!” and it got trashed. I also never saw it because they took him out and straight to be monitored since he was itty bitty.

I saw my son’s. It was pretty cool. White and blue, kinda pretty.
