Omg!!! Big babies run in both families but lawd! I’ve got a baby with a Buddha belly! Lol! It’s measuring 5 weeks ahead! Her other measurements are ok but that BELLY! 33w 6d and she’s already measuring 6lbs 2oz!!! Dr says it’s most likely genetics and not related to GD. I may end up with a c-section though because I’m so petite.

The stomach almost always measures way ahead. Which leads to larger weight estimates.

My baby's belly measured in the 98% too, with the head 92%. The femur was average but this just convinced my husband that we are having a little person ?.

That is big healthy baby! I'm also supposedly having a big baby with all measurements over the 80th and 90th percentiles (I don't even have gd) so we'll see!

My son measured big the entire time. People kept giving me the “ultrasounds aren’t always accurate at measuring” speech.. yea well... tell that to my 3yr old that weighed 9lbs 1oz at 37wks when he was born lol!!
Also have GD, this time and last, but also have the big baby family gene!
