That's exactly what I'm going to do. YouTube and baby blanket. The blanket is a big deal for me because I actually slept with my own baby blanket (made by my grandmother) until I was 23 years old ??? It was so sentimental to me.

I just decided to teach myself as well!! I started a baby blanket a few days ago and am really pleased with how it's turning out. I bought a book for beginners but have found you tube videos much more helpful! :)

YouTube will be your best friend and buy hooks of amazon... work on learning how to hold hook and making chains!!!:)

youtube is how i learned. a blanket is the easiest route for beginners.

This is super cute! I always make something crafty for my kiddos before they come. Mobiles- I've made two so far. I don't know how to crochet, I might learn. I cross stitch.
