@salogogo, truuuue, she goes to daycare. Well whenever you do get her trained in the potty id still look into the head start program. Trust me, you won’t regret it. It’s free, she’ll def qualify because of the speech delay and you’ll save paying daycare! You can also combine it with vpk.

@leslyev92, no sh is not party trained doing so well tho at home I really try but she wont say anything or show me which is hard i have to guess constantly plus day care they have other kids they told Me that she has to show or tell them somehow and thats not happening yet

Little by little. If she’s potty trained, you should look into early head start program, that program really helped my son and since he got therapy, a therapist would go see him at school or pull him out for therapy. Meanwhile being in that school environment was great for him, sometimes it’s other kids that push kids to speak up! He was in the program 2 years & it really made such a difference & helped prep him for kindergarten. And you can always request another therapist, my son saw 2 before I settled for someone, didn’t like the first one at allll she just rubbed me so wrong and for the therapy to work everyone needs to feel comfortable and on the same page. But regardless little by little she’ll get it, she’s probably use to not needing to talk since you do it all for her

@leslyev92, thats great that ur 6 old is helping . Im mostly alone so there are cameras everywhere lol and my daughter wont let me out of her site if i leave the room she fallows. Yeah she was evaluating last june and started speech therapy in August her first words were only in January. She hears 3 languages constantly so im hoping she will start talking soon because its getting very difficult and she is with character. I cant go anywhere she wont hold my hand she doesn’t understand some point we thought she didn’t hear but her hearing and everything else is great. Im not happy with therapist i feel like she doesnt do much 60 min she leaves 15 min early 15 she is writing something and 30 min im playing with her while she sits there with is

Oh for sure, I’ll leave the baby in the bassinet if I need to use the bathroom and they are here and big brother knows to keep an eye on her. My 6 year old is amazing with his sister, if I let him he’d try changing her diaper lol. And about her getting grumpy, I know that all too well... my oldest had speech delay, nothing some therapy couldn’t fix and now he’s a chatter box, but he use to get so upset and would cry when he wouldn’t get his way! It takes a lot of patience! Has her dr recommended any evaluations or not yet ?

@leslyev92, my daughter is taking lil brother well she doesnt seem to care much for him just come touches lightly and lets him be . I havent left the room yet tho im scared they are both too young to even take an eye off them when they are in the same room. Her behavior is more about the fact that she doesnt talk yet very smart knows all abc ‘s and colors and animals shapes sounds but she wont talk so that makes her very grumpy most of the time . She stopped taking naps during the day on the weekends when she is home so that adds up too so yeah not easy 😔

@salogogo, they can def be a challenge no doubt. My youngest boy is obsessed with his little sister so he’s all about the baby and isn’t acting up too much tho he does have his moments. He’s also a full year older than your daughter, that makes a difference. It gets better! It’s a necessary stage for them to go through.

@leslyev92, I totally agree with u if mom is stressed and not happy it affects kids. He took breast at the hospital literally for 10 min that was it i have so much milk but without quality no matter what i eat vitamins and teas and so much staff i tried before same now so i just give him formula and my milk twice a day

@salogogo, oh okay 😒 I’m sorry mama, as long as LO is intaking something, formula is better than nothing. We’re good, I’m doing both breast milk & formula but I’m not producing much because first couple of days my nipples got really sore and cracked so I took a break and I think that really affected my supply. But I couldn’t do it, pain was unbearable I felt so much pain and I believe in happy mama happy baby. So if mama is feeding in pain, stressed, that isn’t good for baby either. I was so irritable, so now I’m doing what I can of breast and giving her formula.

Are you keeping up with feeding? Breast milk is a supply and demand thing, so if you aren’t constant you may produce less, therefore making your baby hungry.

@leslyev92, he wont take any. First of all he is so lazy i tried giving him through bottle he wont drink or he is hungry in an hour. I fed my daughter breakfast milk for 3 months she was constantly hungry and crying so i knew this tome around breastmilk would be an option for me. How are u guys doing?
