I caved and tried Starbucks today ..... 😑

@kandbh922, yep. I actually don’t shop there much. We have HEB 😁 I worked for United/ Market Street for four years during high school, but I now prefer HEB. Lubbock doesn’t have any yet. I hope they get one eventually

@c00kiemomster Midland has a market Street now? My goodness. 10years ago Midland didn't have anything. Big companies ruining little companies everywhere 🙄

@kandbh922, That makes me mad. They built a Market Street in Midland 3ish years ago and I was so darn excited to have something other than Starbucks in Midland and they put a stinking Starbucks in it too! I have coworkers in upper management in some of the stores and they said they might eventually switch to Starbucks in all of them!! 😑😡 Midland has very few local coffee shops. I know of two. I also go to Big Spring and they only have one local and a Starbucks. I really don’t like Starbucks.

@c00kiemomster I've had oh la la lattes. They are actually pretty good. Inside the united on 50th is now a Starbucks (shocking) .

And the Market Street 98th and Quaker has Keva Juice in it! (yummy smoothies!) Not all of the stores have those. But yeah. I go there every time I’m in Lubbock.

@kandbh922, I’ve seen another one called Ooh La Lattes, I haven’t tried it yet but I love the name! Oh!!! And Peets inside United and Market Street!! Idk how I forgot them! Now THAT is my favorite! I know it’s in the Market Streets on 98th and Quaker and 50th and Slide. I can’t remember which United’s it’s in. I worked at the one on 98th and Quaker for a 2yrs about 10yrs ago! (Feeling old now lol)
